Any unused portion of the credit will expire on December 31, 2020.

Who is Eligible for Google Ads Credits?

To qualify for these ad credits, your business must meet specific eligibility criteria set by Google:

  • Active Google Ads Account: Your account must have been active with ad spend in ten out of twelve months of 2019.
  • Recent Activity: You must have also had active ad spend in January and/or February of 2020.

These credits will not be applied to past or current bills; they are solely intended for future ad campaigns to help you sustain your online marketing efforts.

How Much Credit Will You Receive?

The exact credit amount each business will receive varies. While Google has not disclosed specific figures, the amount is determined based on several factors:

When Will You Receive the Credits?

Eligible businesses will start receiving notifications from late May onwards. Once the ad credit is applied to your account, you will see it reflected in your Google Ads account dashboard.
